Millennium Treatment Group Sees Decline in DUI Rates
Date:8/25/2014

Lake Worth, FL (PRWEB) August 25, 2014

Millennium Treatment Group is proud to announce that the rate of driving under the influence has recently begun to decline. Although this decline is encouraging, any driving under the influence remains a cause for concern. Millennium Treatment Group is ready to help those affected by alcoholism and drug addiction, contributing to a safer experience on the road for all.

According to the most recent National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), as of 2012, an estimated 29.1 million people (11 percent) had driven under the influence of alcohol at least once in the past year. This is down from 14 percent in 2002. Millennium Treatment Group is optimistic that this slight decline is the beginning of a trend, and they are looking to do their part in helping to lower it even more.

In 2012, the number one cause of death in 17 U.S. states was prescription drug abuse. That figure surpassed the number of fatalities caused by motor vehicle accidents. Millennium Treatment Group is committed to helping those suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction to change their ways for the better and lead a healthier and more fulfilling life.

At Millennium Treatment Group, patients will learn the effects their drug use has on others. Addiction doesn’t just affect the addict; it also affects parents, family members and other loved ones. The professionals at Millennium understand the difficulties and hardships that go along with addiction, for both the addict and their loved ones. Their focus is on each individual and helping them to develop a plan that will lead them to recovery.
