WEXFORD, Penn., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Pharmacy Systems, Inc., an industry leader in the provision of technology enabled pharmacy solutions to senior healthcare facilities, announced today the appointment of Richard Scardina as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Scardina has served on the Millennium Board of Directors since October 2007. Most recently he was self-employed as an independent consultant after serving as an executive with Caremark Rx, Inc.

Gary Duty, a founder of the company, will continue to serve as the company's President and a Director.
