Wallace, head of the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Joining him will be Daniel J. Crowley, Executive Vice President of the Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter Program.
Orlando, FL (Vocus) November 18, 2008 -- The largest modeling and simulation exhibition event ever held will feature top leaders from the cutting edge of M&S technology. Speaking at the opening ceremonies of the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) will be General William S. Wallace, head of the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Joining him will be Daniel J. Crowley, Executive Vice President of the Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter Program.
A combat veteran, Gen. Wallace served in Vietnam and again in Iraq as V Corps commander. A former Commander of the Army’s National Training Center, and later the Joint Warfighting Center, General Wallace attended both the Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth and the Naval War College in Newport. Among his many awards and decorations are the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
As Commander of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, General Wallace is responsible for recruiting, training, and educating the Army’s soldiers; developing its leaders; supporting training in units; developing doctrine; establishing standards and building the future Army. TRADOC is comprised of more than 50,000 soldiers
