CLEVELAND, May 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Milestones Autism Organization presents its annual Autism/Asperger's conference: Promoting Life Long Strategies for Success, featuring Brenda Smith Myles, Ph.D. This conference is for parents, students, professionals, and adults with autism. Participants will network, learn about local resources and enhance their knowledge of best practices for school, home, community and work through research-based approaches. Targeted workshops address challenges for individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger's Syndrome or social communication challenges: young children, elementary, middle and high school aged students, and adults.
Nationally known author, Brenda Smith Myles, will speak about lessons from her recent book, "Understanding the Hidden Curriculum: The Unwritten Rules in Social Situations." She was recently acknowledged as the second most productive applied researcher in ASD in the world from 1997 to 2004.
