SEDONA, Ariz., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Join Mii amo, a destination spa at Enchantment Resort, for a four-day celebration in Sedona's red rock country honoring the winter solstice on December 21. Activities include a series of traditional Native American ceremonies facilitated by Native American Program Director R.J. Joseph and special guest, Elder George Goodstriker.
Goodstriker is a well-respected Blackfoot Elder from the Blood Reserve in Standoff, Alberta, Canada's largest reserve. He is a long-standing member of the First Nation's Wisdom Committee and a highly sought-after speaker. Joseph, a Northern Plains Cree who is originally from Alberta, works closely with a variety of Native American tribes to educate Enchantment Resort guests and staff about Sedona and Boynton Canyon's rich history and cultural traditions.
