Dr. Burgher is a Phoenix-based, double board-certified pain management expert who completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in Pain Management at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Dr. Burgher treats patients with chronic pain from conditions including migraines, chronic headaches and trigeminal neuralgia, with the help of the surgical facilities at Freedom Pain Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. This acute care and outpatient surgical facility is dedicated to a multi-disciplinary, complementary approach in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic pain.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Burgher is dedicated to research, and works diligently toward furthering to technology development in the area of pain management. He is currently involved in clinical research in patient care and safety for individuals suffering with chronic pain. He is a clinical investigator and the Director of Investigator Relations at the HOPE Research Institute, and Vice President for Clinical Innovations at Pain Care Solutions. Dr. Burgher's main area of interest is on the applications for implanted pain therapy devices that can help manage chronic nerve pain.

Dr. Burgher is the lead author of various publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as co-lead researcher in a human clinical trial supported by the National Institutes of Health.
