Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety Releases New Program, The Solution to Controlling Stress and Worry
Date:6/8/2009

LOS ANGELES, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Approximately 70% of men and women say that stress levels have increased since the recession began and 80% are nervous about their long term financial stability, a recent study reports(1). "Times are tough for everyone right now; there's no shortage of things to be anxious and worried about, and people don't know where to turn for help," said Lucinda Bassett, Founder of the Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety. As the financial markets suffered steep declines in the wake of a troubled U.S. housing market, the Midwest Center recognized that people were losing more than their jobs and life savings, they were losing hope, balance and self-confidence as stress levels soared.

In response to this significant consumer need, the Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety announced today the release of its latest program, The Solution. This most recent program from the Midwest Center features skills and techniques that will enable people to cope with stress, to turn worry into personal and financial security, to live longer and age better, and to provide long-lasting personal growth. "There is help. There are options," continued Ms. Bassett, "The Solution is a real-world, practical program filled with expert advice and skills for people who are seeking new tools and resources to control feelings of overwhelming stress and are ready to reclaim a happy, confident and stress-free life."

The Solution is a five session audio program, with an accompanying personal empowerment journal, that features the expertise and stress management tips from the following experts:

  • Glen Hiemstra, Futurist and Author of Turning the Future into Revenue: What Businesses and Individuals Need to Know to Shape Their Future
  • Dr. Shad Helmstetter, Ph.D, Founder and Chairman of the Life Coa
