Michael Simmons, DMD to speak at California Dental Association Meeting

training during their entire 4 years of medical school and the issues with SDB although recognized as enormous back in 1988 continue to be increasing.
Dr. Simmons is a part time lecturer at UCLA and Clinical Assistant Professor at USC's dental schools and frequently talks with members of the public. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. Dr. Simmons has published original research, book chapters and is a frequent speaker in Dental and Orofacial maladies including TMJ, Orofacial Pain, Snoring and Sleep Apnea. He just recently completed a children book on Snoring, Sleep Apnea and Drowsy Driving to try and reach our younger population and further educate on these epidemic problems. Simmons also serves as the Ethics Chairman for his local dental society of more than 1400 members. Dr. Simmons is a member of Snoring Isn't Sexy, LLC.
