NEW YORK, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Metalsmith Michael Aram will lend his support to another noteworthy cause, The Naz Foundation (India) Trust, when he opens up the doors to his flagship store on March 13th for a special benefit event.
The Naz Foundation (India) Trust is a New Delhi based charity that was established in 1994, at a time when the HIV/AIDS crisis was just unfolding in India. The Foundation has committed itself to raising awareness on and preventing the local spread of HIV while also providing support to those affected by the virus.
Established in 2001 by The Naz Foundation, The Naz Care Home started offering a residence for orphaned children living with HIV. While providing support, education, nutritional and medical needs, The Naz Care Home also offers a healthy living environment for these children. While health is the top priority of The Naz Foundation, the Care Home staff work hard to give the children the fun-filled childhood they deserve.
Aram, who is closely knit to the Indian community, will donate 30% of all proceeds from items purchased on March 13th to The Naz Foundation.
