The match, which will be held on Sept. 9 will feature two of the top teams from around the world. Also lacing up their cleats for this match with Chile is Rafa Marquez, Carlos Salcido, Andres Guardado, Giovani dos Santos, and Francisco Javier Rodriguez.
The Chilean national soccer team made an even better lasting impression on the soccer world after their impressive showing at the World Cup. The team is now ranked as the 12th best in the world has seen their reputation in the soccer world increase in the past several years. The world became familiar with their ability after they beat Spain in the Group Stage of the World Cup this year. When they play Mexico in California on Sept. 6, they will be led at Levi’s Stadium by Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Eduardo Vargas, and Claudio Bravo.
On April 19, 2012, construction began for Levi’s Stadium. In July of this year, the facility officially opened and will now be the home of the San Francisco 49ers from the National Football League. The venue can seat close to 70,000 fans each night, but it can be expanded to fit 75,000. The venue has already been announced as the location of Super Bowl 50, WrestleMania 31, and will host a game in the 2015 NHL Stadium Series. The venue will also be the new home of the San Francisco Bowl and the Pacific-12 Football Championship Game.
