Mesh Lawsuit Trial: Bernstein Liebhard LLP Notes Selection of Jury in Federal C.R. Bard Vaginal Mesh Lawsuit Trial
Date:7/31/2013

New York, New York (PRWEB) July 31, 2013

A mesh lawsuit (http://www.mesh-lawyers.net/) trial in the federal litigation established for claims involving transvaginal mesh products manufactured by C.R. Bard got underway this week in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of West Virginia, Bernstein Liebhard LLP reports. According to court documents, jury selection for the trial has been completed, and opening arguments will commence soon. The Plaintiff, who received an Avaulta Plus device in 2009, claims in her vaginal mesh lawsuit that the defective nature of the product caused her to suffer serious complications that resulted in multiple corrective surgeries. “We are pleased to see that a jury has been seated, and look forward to the start of testimony in this case. We hope the outcome will provide insights that will help in evaluating similar vaginal mesh lawsuits,” says Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a nationwide law firm representing victims of defective drugs and medical devices. Firm partner, Jeffery S. Grand, serves on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the federal C.R. Bard litigation. Bernstein Liebhard LLP continues to offer free mesh lawsuit consultations to women who allegedly suffered serious injuries following implantation of devices manufactured by C.R. Bard, Inc., as well as American Medical Systems, Inc., Ethicon, Inc. and Boston Scientific Corp.
