Baltimore, MD (Vocus) December 10, 2009 -- Gynecologic oncologist Dwight Im, M.D., Director of The Gynecologic Oncology Center at Mercy Medical Center, has been honored by his patients with a Patients’ Choice recognition.

Each month, more than 40,000 patients across the U.S. provide online feedback about their experiences with their doctors at http://www.vitals.com. They rate various components such as bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, degree of follow-up, courtesy of office staff and overall opinions. The “Patients’ Choice” award is tabulated by MDx Medical, Inc.

Of those that receive positive reviews, only physicians like Dr. Dwight Im, with near perfect scores, are voted by their patients for this honor. In fact, of the nation’s 720,000 active physicians, less than 5% were accorded this honor by their patients last year.

A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Im completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowship at Hopkins under Neil B. Rosenshein, M.D., Director of nationally acclaimed Weinberg Center for Women’s Health and Medicine at Mercy.

Dr. Im is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has made numero
