Mercola Creates New Saw Palmetto Supplement
Date:6/13/2013

Hoffman Estates, IL (PRWEB) June 13, 2013

Dr. Mercola announced today that he now offers a new saw palmetto supplement.

Saw Palmetto with Lycopene is a Mercola exclusive – a unique, groundbreaking formula that combines saw palmetto and lycopene in a “single” capsule.

Lycopene is naturally acidic, so it is virtually impossible to put lycopene and saw palmetto in the same capsule without lycopene destroying saw palmetto. Dr Mercola’s Saw Palmetto with Lycopene is able to get around this issue, however, by use of capsule-in-capsule technology. There’s actually a capsule of lycopene inside of a capsule of saw palmetto! This prevents the two ingredients from mixing and allows them to maintain their integrity. But that’s not the only challenge.

One of the greatest challenges with saw palmetto is inconsistency in the potency of the extract. That’s why the Mercola formula uses only ‘wildcrafted’ berries at their peak of maturity, grown in the USA (in Florida). Then Mercola’s manufacturers apply the DeepExtract™ technology with a proprietary CO2 process.

Mercola stresses the company’s ongoing commitment to product purity and the highest level of quality control available through advanced technology throughout the entire formulation and production process of all its supplements.

“That is why we implemented an advanced botanical-based stabilization system called O2B™ to help ensure longevity of the ingredients,” said Dr. Mercola. “And that is why I believe this Saw Palmetto with Lycopene is the premier saw palmetto supplement.”
