An integrated wireless local area network solution has been developed specifically for the VitaLogikTM 6000, utilizing Mennen Medical's new propriety internal wireless card and based on the IEEE Compliance Standards 802.11b/g. The wireless network option for VitaLogikTM portable and bed side monitors extends the central station monitoring and automated vital sign collection beyond the bedside, because patient care can now be anywhere; by the bedside, in the hallway, during transportation or in auxiliary units.

Tel Aviv, Israel; Southampton, PA (PRWEB) February 22, 2010 -- Mennen Medical®, a leading provider of patient monitors, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology systems, announced today the launch of a new patient monitor, the VitaLogikTM 6000.

The VitaLogikTM 6000 is a pre-configured multi-parameter Patient Monitor with a 15" flat screen display, supported by an internal battery for uninterrupted vital signs' monitoring. The VitaLogikTM 6000 has an extensive storage capability of Full Disclosure, Charts, Trends and Events, in addition to the saved data of up to 10 discharged patients. This innovative monitor joins Mennen Medical's monitoring solution and is predicted to be the leading member of the successful VitaLogikTM family which includes the VitaLogikTM 4000, VitaLogikTM 5000 and the Enguardview Workstation (Central Nurse Station & Remote Monitor).

The VitaLogikTM 6000 uses Mennen Medical's proprietary developed CIPAM Technology. The CIPAM (Configurable Isolated Physiological Acquisition Module) is Mennen's front end board, which features multiple acquisition units for measuring various physiological parameters and was recently recognized by Frost & Sullivan with "The European Patient Monitoring Technology Leadership of the Year Award 2009".

Furthermore, the new Internal Wireless Network Card will also be integrated into the Portable VitaLogikTM 4000 Series and is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2010, thus maintaining the Mennen vision of monitoring the patient's vital signs continuously and accurately at any place and at any point of time.

Mr. Erez Nimrod, President of Mennen Medical® Ltd., added: "The VitaLogikTM 6000 is a key milestone in the development plan of our next generation of the VitaLogikTM platform and a primary addition to the VitaLogikTM Patient Monitoring Family".
