Memorial Hospital Wellness Vehicle to Offer Health Screenings at Affordable Assisted Living Community in St. Louis Metro East
Date:5/11/2013

Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) May 11, 2013

Health screenings will be available at no cost from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May, 16, when the Memorial Hospital wellness vehicle visits Cambridge House of O’Fallon, a BMA affordable assisted living community in the St. Louis Metro East area.

The community, which is located at 844 Cambridge Blvd. in O’Fallon, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

Mammograms; screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar; and non-invasive colorectal cancer screenings will be available.

"We invite you to come and take advantage of the health and wellness screenings that will be available at no cost to you," says Tammy Loman, Director of Marketing for Cambridge House of O'Fallon.

Cambridge House of O’Fallon will be providing refreshments.

To schedule an appointment for a mammogram or for more information on the screenings that will be available, call Kelly Belt at 618-624-9900.

Cambridge House of O’Fallon is one of three Cambridge House affordable assisted living communities located in the Metro East. The other communities are located in Maryville and Swansea, Illinois.

“All three communities provide older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” says Loman. “Residents benefit from living in a residential apartment-home environment and receiving personal assistance and help with medications.”

Private one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are available, with each apartment featuring a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating
