Date:1/28/2010

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jeff Naughtin, an executive with Minneapolis-based Campbell Mithun, has been named Event Chair for this year’s What’s Your Type? fundraiser to benefit Memorial Blood Centers, Minnesota’s only nonprofit organization to supply life-saving blood and blood components to area hospital partners.

“Memorial Blood Centers is honored to have Jeff Naughtin on board to head this annual benefit that is so critical to our organization’s mission,” said CEO Don Berglund. “Jeff has been a long-time dedicated blood donor. He understands and promotes our mission of providing excellent service and life-saving products to benefit the communities we serve. And he brings the right skill set and experience for expanding our outreach to potential partners and supporters for our What’s Your Type? event."

Naughtin has been with Campbell Mithun since 1996 and is currently Vice President, Promotion Marketing. He brings many years of experience in marketing and promotions, having led a variety of campaigns driving brand activation with leading organizations including General Mills and H & R Block. As Event Chair, Naughtin will lead initiatives to raise awareness about Memorial Blood Centers in the community and to increase participation in the What’s Your Type? Benefit, and generate financial contributions through the event.

What’s Your Type? will take place on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2010 at 704 North Prior Avenue in Saint Paul. The benefit will include live music from the Tim Mahoney Band, delicious food and beverages hosted by a group of locally owned and operated Twin Cities Originals’ restaurants, a live and silent auction, and more attractions. Tickets are $75 at the door and all proceeds from What’s Your Type? go to further Memorial Blood Centers’ mission and provide additional financial support for the organization’s efforts to replace an inefficient and outdated fleet with a new bloodmobile that will improve service to all the  generous donors who give the gift of life through blood donations.
