Medrio, a leading provider of Electronic Data Capture and eClinical tools, announced they will be hosting their first annual eClinical Networking and Dinner Seminar in partnership with Peter Shabe, CEO and President of Advance Research Associates, on October 17th, 2013.

“I’m excited to announce our first eClinical Dinner Seminar, featuring Peter Shabe of Advance Research Associates who will be sharing best practices and expertise on the Role of Statistics in Clinical Trials,” said Scott Weidley, Sr. Senior Director of Sales and Marketing. “Medrio strives to provide valuable resources to the clinical research community and I’m looking forward to hosting this event.”

The role of statistics in a clinical trial provides a structured process to quantify the safety and efficacy of an investigational product and compare one to another with a reliable and reproducible result.

Peter will provide a brief, concise, and entertaining overview of statistics by guiding us through four basic steps: 1) collecting data, 2) summarizing data, 3) performing statistical analysis of results, and 4) learning how to generalize results to the population being studied.
