on for Medical Modeling and Simulation”, will feature participants from industry, academia and the military. The event will explore how best to weave this powerful new tool into all aspects of medical training and how various professional communities can best work together to determine a road map for the future of medical modeling and simulation.
The second conference, “Future Applications of Modeling and Simulation for Medical Education, Training and Care”, will navigate through the human body to show how technology is used to provide training for the military in the contemporary medical operating environment. The “journey” will feature numerous stops along the way, including presentations on physiology modeling, distributed medical training environments, tele-medicine and virtual reality for behavioral health. Finally, the conference will focus on a vision of future medical simulation.
