"The national Surviving Sepsis Campaign has led the development of guidelines to assist healthcare providers in early identification and treatment of sepsis; however, there are few resources devoted to putting these guidelines into practice," says Bill Younkes, MSC president and CEO. "The SimSuite Sepsis Program brings these widely available guidelines to practice through realistic, simulation-based training."

The SimSuite Sepsis Program is available through multiple training options designed to meet the needs of different healthcare teams. A comprehensive training tool kit allows hospital educators to customize course content to match their facilities' sepsis protocols relating to procedures and documentation.

MSC recently introduced a Moderate Sedation Quality Initiative Program. Other SimSuite Quality Initiative Programs to be available in early 2009 include Ventilator Associated Pneumonia and Central Line Management.
