(Pink Sheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that as a result of the excellent independent test results obtained by regulatory agencies related to the VScan HIV and TB test kits, interest in the dual VScan test kit that detects HIV and TB simultaneously has increased substantially.

HIV and TB are known to be closely associated. It is very difficult to get individuals to make themselves available for the 3 to 4 days that it takes to test for both diseases. With the VScan dual test kit, the testing for both diseases can be done in 30 minutes. Forty (40%) of the individuals with HIV have active TB. TB is very contagious but treatable if diagnosed correctly. Use of this test dual test kit will help to reduce the spread of TB within the community while helping to detect HIV. Medical Services is the only company that has developed a test for detecting both TB and HIV at the same time. Countries currently using the VScan test kits for HIV and TB are particularly interested in the dual kit. Preliminary indications are that the market will be very large for the dual test kits.
