HOUSTON, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Considered by many in medical marketing to be one of the best in her field, Jessica Ferdinand has joined prominent Houston healthcare and sports marketing firm Active Imagination as its new Director of Strategy and Business Development.
In her new role with Active Imagination, Ferdinand will contribute to on-going strategic counsel for existing clients, and develop relationships with potential clients whose marketing needs fit Active Imagination's strategically driven approach.
Ferdinand, a native New Yorker, began her career in sales with Roche Pharmaceuticals and became involved in launching managed care to the New York market. She developed an expertise in translating the complex concepts to physicians and hospitals. "I was hooked! I took that expertise to the agency side and began the next phase of my career in healthcare marketing," she said.
Ferdinand has since spent the last decade helping companies like Bristol-Myers Squibb US, Merck, Novartis and Pfizer, to name a few, launch new products and revitalize existing brands. "My experience over the past 15 years includes strategic market development and branding, agency account management, advocacy development, and medical education."
Active Imagination President Adam Nisenson says Ferdinand's expertise will add a new layer of strategy and planning to their firm's unique brand of marketing. "Jessica starts with clients at their desired end and works methodically to develop a plan for how to achieve the organization's goals. From medical education to physician recruitment strategies, Jessica has done it and now brings her expertise to Active Imagination's clients," he said.
Ferdinand couldn't be more excited about the move. "I like a roll-up-your-sleeves, strategically driven team approach to growing brands, and that is what Active Imagination is all about," she said.
