Partnership with AMICAS will enable practice's strategic growth initiatives

BOSTON, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AMICAS, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCS), a leader in radiology and medical image and information management solutions, today announced a new partnership with one of the nation's most progressive radiology practices, Medical Diagnostic Imaging Group (MDIG) of Phoenix, AZ. This partnership will enable MDIG to achieve its aggressive growth initiatives.

MDIG is a private 32-radiologist practice providing both hospital and imaging center reading services at multiple imaging facilities located in Phoenix, Yuma, and Casa Grande. MDIG is a full-service radiology practice, offering diagnostic and interventional radiology expertise.
