MediNotes EMR Now Interfaces With 76 Practice Management Systems, Allowing More Medical Practices to Replace Their Patients' Aging Paper Medical Records

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- MediNotes Corporation, a leading provider of electronic medical record (EMR) systems for small to mid-size medical practices, today announced that MediNotes e reached another technological benchmark by now interfacing with 76 Practice Management Systems (PMS), using HL7 as the industry standard for connectivity. MediNotes' ability to interface with 76 PMS represents a 15% increase in the amount of PMS it interfaced with six months ago. The increase in PMS interfaces underscores MediNotes' continued desire to offer a Best of Breed EMR that works in conjunction with other software a medical office is using instead of replacing it all with a "Suite EMR," which forces the medical office to abandon all of its other software used to run the office such as scheduling, billing, etc.
