Medi-Promotions Hires Industry Executive to Expand its Medi-Scripts Prescription Pad Model

Richard Zwickel to Launch Medi-Scripts PLUS - Prescription Pads with

Enhanced Patient Features

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Medi-Promotions, Inc., the originator of Medi-Scripts(R) prescription pads, today announced that it has appointed Richard Zwickel to vice president of Medi-Scripts PLUS(R), the company's next generation prescription pad model. Being launched this month at the PDMA Sharing Conference in Chicago, Medi-Scripts PLUS will initially include patient offers from pharmaceutical manufacturers in its prescription pads.

"We brought Richard in to expand our 27-year Medi-Scripts business," said Chris McNamara, president of Medi-Promotions. "With his strong background in healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing, we believe Richard has the right skill set to help us take our industry leading prescription pad business to the next level. Our pharmaceutical clients are striving more than ever to influence the prescribing habits of all prescribers, including doctors and nurse practitioners. By offering more advanced marketing options to these drug manufacturers, Medi-Scripts PLUS will enable them to maximize their marketing mix and reach prescribers at the point-of-prescription."

As vice president of the Medi-Scripts PLUS division, Mr. Zwickel is responsible for the strategy and execution for all line extensions of the Medi-Scripts franchise, as well as key business initiatives related to the pharmaceutical clients for this legacy portfolio.

Mr. Zwickel has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He was previously national solution director for Thomson Healthcare/PDR Business Unit. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility at The Hartfield Group, where he was eventually named senior vice president for the company's Pharmaceutical Business Unit. He also held director-level and above roles in its pharmaceutical business unit, working across sales, marketing
