Jay Parsons Brings Broad, Health Related Consumer Marketing Expertise to

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- MedVantx, Inc. announced today the election of Jay Parsons to the company's board of directors effective immediately.

Mr. Parsons is a leading industry expert in consumer behavior-based marketing programs and the development of customized incentive programs that help consumers make appropriate and cost effective decisions regarding their healthcare.

Mr. Parsons currently serves as President of Catalina Health Resources, a healthcare division of Catalina Marketing. Catalina provides direct to consumer marketing programs that reach over 250 million consumers per week through more than 22,000 U.S. and 7,000 international retailers. Jay has held a variety of management and leadership positions within Catalina and SmithKline Beecham's Consumer Group. Earlier in his career, Jay was instrumental in the development and launch of two of the largest and most successful Rx to OTC switches in U.S. history.
