MedSpring Offers Camp and Sports Physicals For $29
Date:5/21/2013

Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 21, 2013

It’s nearly summer and millions of kids will soon be heading off to summer camp or starting practice for summer or fall sports. In many cases a physical exam is required before camp or sporting activities can begin.

To help parents during this busy time, MedSpring is offering an affordable option for youth sports or camp physicals at just $29. As part of the physical, MedSpring’s on-site doctors will review a child’s medical history, perform a physical exam and complete required forms. Patients can schedule an appointment, or just walk-in to any MedSpring Urgent Care. All MedSpring locations are open 9am – 9pm seven days a week.

“MedSpring wants all children to have a happy and healthy summer camp or athletic experience,” said Dr. Jon L. Belsher, MedSpring’s Chief Medical Officer. “A physical exam not only confirms one’s overall health but it also may help identify issues of which the child and parent should be aware to preserve and maintain the child’s ongoing health.”

MedSpring Urgent Care treats a wide range of illnesses and injuries, from cuts, sprains and broken bones to coughs, allergies and infections. Most MedSpring visits are under an hour. During their visit, MedSpring patients enjoy a distinctive and relaxing atmosphere with unique amenities including complimentary snacks and beverages, in-room televisions and activities for children. After thousands of reviews MedSpring is rated 4.9 out of 5 stars by its patients.

MedSpring Urgent Care has six centers in Austin, five in Houston and three in Chicago.
