MedQuest Standardizes on AMICAS Vision Series PACS

Vision Series PACS and Vision Reach to be deployed at 92 outpatient imaging

centers across 13 states

BOSTON, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AMICAS, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCS), a leader in radiology and medical image and information management solutions, today announced that MQ Associates, Inc. ("MedQuest"), a national provider of diagnostic imaging services, has chosen AMICAS Vision Series(TM) PACS as the platform on which they will address their image management needs across their nationwide network of 92 outpatient imaging centers.

MedQuest is a leading diagnostic imaging company that owns and operates 92 outpatient centers in 13 states, two-thirds of which are located in the immediate five-state region of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee. MedQuest is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novant Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system headquartered in Winston- Salem, NC.
