at the point of care

LITTLE FALLS, N.J., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other clinicians searching for medical guidance online can now find results ranked by accuracy instead of popularity. Under the terms of the partnership, physicians will use Vantage Linguistics' iSEEK Targeted Discovery search engine to query MedPage Today's database of current, peer-reviewed news articles at http://www.medpagetoday.com as well as the most recent 2 years of data available at PubMed (http://www.pubmed.gov). Other relevant databases will be added as need dictates.

Clinicians can access iSEEK Medical Searchblade only from MedPageToday.com. The goal is to enable physicians to help patients at the point of care and give them the most current information, timely diagnosis, and counsel on their condition based upon the most authoritative medical information available, not the most popular information. In addition, every time physicians query MedPage Today's database using iSEEK, they accrue continuing medical education (CME) credits through MedPage Today's CME platform.

"iSEEK is the only search engine that provides credible results that physicians can trust, because it doesn't include product information, and it's not influenced by online marketing techniques," said Robert Stern, President and CEO of MedPage Today. "By putting accurate, timely, and trustworthy information at their fingertips, iSEEK helps phys
