MedCath Corporation to Present at the Banc of America Securities 2008 Health Care Conference

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MedCath Corporation (Nasdaq: MDTH) announced that its senior management will give a presentation at the Banc of America Securities 2008 Health Care Conference held May 13 - 15 at The Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas.

MedCath's senior management will give its presentation on Tuesday, May 13 at 4:40 p.m. Pacific time. The presentation will be web cast live over the Internet via MedCath's website (http://www.medcath.com) and will be available for 30 days.

MedCath Corporation, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., is a healthcare provider focused on high acuity services with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease being a primary service offering. Following completion of the divestiture of Dayton Heart Hospital, MedCath will own an interest in and operate nine hospitals with a total of 616 licensed beds, located in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Texas. In addition, MedCath and its subsidiary MedCath Partners manage the cardiovascular program at various hospitals and provide services in diagnostic and therapeutic facilities in various states.
