BOSTON, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- MedAptus(R), market leader for charge capture technologies, today announced the addition of two new, independent directors, Linda Beneze and Laurence J. Hagerty, to its Board of Directors.

Mrs. Beneze is chief executive officer of KIKA Medical, the leading provider of advanced EDC solutions for clinical trials. She has more than 25 years of experience in the clinical healthcare and research community and most recently served as vice president of sales and client services at PHT Corporation. Prior to joining PHT, a provider of electronic patient reported outcome solutions, Mrs. Beneze was executive director of channel management at Phase Forward.

Mr. Hagerty has nearly 20 years of senior executive experience with healthcare and information industry growth companies. He spent 16 years at Medstat, first as president and chief operating officer, and later as president and chief executive officer after the company's acquisition by Thomson in late 1994. Under his leadership, Medstat -- a leading supplier of analytical and benchmark databases, decision support solutions, and research services for all sectors of the healthcare industry -- built an exceptional track record of revenue and earnings growth. More recently, Mr. Hagerty was president of RLPTechnologies, a subsidiary of R.L. Polk & Co., a market-leading automotive industry information company.
