Physicians Readily Adopt Time-Saving Tool in Outpatient, Inpatient Settings

BOSTON, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- MedAptus(R), market leader for charge capture technologies, today announced that the distinguished Lenox Hill Interventional Cardiac & Vascular Services, PC (LHICVS) is the latest cardiology group to implement Professional Intelligent Charge Capture.

Nearly 40 clinical and interventional cardiologists at LHICVS, one of the most highly respected cardiovascular care programs in the nation, are currently using MedAptus' Practice Plus Edition on both cellular PDAs and web-enabled workstations. The MedAptus software is utilized for the capture of outpatient charges at the group's main office as well as nearby regional offices, and inpatient charges at Lenox Hill Hospital, recently ranked among the nation's top hospitals in heart and heart surgery by U.S. News and World Report.

Practice Plus Edition is a powerful, yet easy-to-use, physician-oriented application proven to mitigate revenue loss, compliance overhead and lack of billing process transparency. The solution has experienced high demand from cardiology practices given that most groups are comprised of multiple sub-specialists with unique coding requirements, full patient loads and multiple settings of care.
