McCallan and Excerpta Medica Launch MED SELECT Program at HCEA
Date:7/8/2009

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., July 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With many industry and national initiatives calling for personalized treatment for patients rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, the launch of the Scientific ELective Educational ContenT Program, MED SELECT provides a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals (HCPs) to tailor information specifically to their patients. Combining McCallan's software and logistics capability with Excerpta Medica's branded, scientific content from well-known Elsevier brands provides a powerful offering in a market starved of new initiatives after recent changes in the PhRMA code.

The MED SELECT program allows HCPs to choose appropriate and medically relevant content including illustrations from Frank H. Netter, MD, and Gray's Anatomy and other clinical and diagnostic images and reference materials which are then printed on site at a convention. Redemption time is under 3 minutes.

MED SELECT is also available as a representative access tool for your sales force (through Mac or PC tablets), which can further facilitate PhRMA-compliant communications between your reps and HCPs.
