Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Caregivers Wanted To Partner With Compassionate Caregivers Of Massachusetts

The Compassionate Caregivers of Massachusetts are a Massachusetts based organization actively recruiting Massachusetts medical marijuana caregivers into their network, in an effort to provide qualifying patients with safe and affordable medical marijuana.

New laws enacted by the Massachusetts legislature allow citizens to apply for a caregiver license and supply patients unable to travel to dispensaries or who cannot afford the meds there. As of today, the laws are still unclear on the plant counts allowed, amounts of meds on hand and other specifics (http://www.wcvb.com/health/Medical-marijuana-Massachusetts-law-what-you-need-to-know/-/9848730/18590854/-/13wende/-/index.html). The Compassionate Caregivers of Massachusetts (CCMA) will be keeping their members and forum users up to date on laws as they become available. The community at large is encouraged to share what they know with everyone.

In the nearby state of Maine, for example, in order for a caregiver to qualify for a license they must pay a State licensing fee of $300 per patient, which allows for them to grow and sell up to 2.5 ounces every 15 days to their designated patient. Both patient and caregiver must have documentation on hand in preparation of any state audit (http://www.maine.gov/legis/lawlib/medmarij.html).
