SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) has received the 2009 Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) Gold Well Workplace Award for its commitment to providing a healthy workplace for its employees.
The Well Workplace Award, created by the Wellness Councils of America, is an award program that recognizes organizations for quality and excellence in their worksite health promotion. MassMutual is one of only 60 companies to receive a Gold award from WELCOA in 2009.
"MassMutual is proud to receive such a prestigious recognition of our employee wellness efforts," says Deb Palermino, Senior Vice President, MassMutual Human Resources.
