SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridy Condon of the Pollakov Financial Group of La Jolla, CA, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual), is the recipient of a prestigious life insurance industry award for her remarkable service to her client, a widow suffering from a disabling condition.
Condon received the 2007 realLIFEstories Client Service Award, which recognizes insurance professionals whose service has made an extraordinary difference in their clients' lives, from the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE) and Newsweek, Inc.
Condon, who appeared in the Sept. 10 edition of Newsweek alongside her client, Ann Reynolds, is one of only four insurance professionals to be profiled in the publication.

Condon, 30, has played a critical role in Reynolds' life since 2003, when Reynolds' lost her husband, Mark. Using the proceeds of a modest whole life insurance policy and a disability income insurance policy, Condon used her financial know-how to help the widow stay in her San Diego home, purchase a wheel-chair accessible van that enables her to get around, and pay for extensive dental work to repair her teeth, which had been damaged by medications she was required to take for a painful degenerative back condition that has left her unable to walk.
