Maryland Laser Skin and Vein to Volunteer at National LPGA Events

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) July 18, 2014

As part of the LPGA International Crown tournament, Maryland Laser Skin and Vein is a sponsor of the Executive Women’s Day golf event to be held on Tuesday, July 22, and volunteering at the Women’s Dermatologic Society’s “Play it Safe in the Sun” outreach program lasting from Tuesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 27th. Dr. Karen Beasley of MDLSV will be chairing the Women’s Dermatologic Society event, and MDLSV is proud to be a sponsor for the Executive Women’s Day event.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to volunteer and act as a sponsor for such great events for women,” said leading dermatologist Dr. Karen Beasley of MDLSV. “I’m sure the International Crown will be a great success and bring recognition to many international female golfers. We are pleased to be a part of this groundbreaking tournament.”

The expert dermatologists at Maryland Laser Skin and Vein participate in many community outreach projects. This is the second year that Dr. Beasley will chair the Women’s Dermatologic Society’s “Play Safe in the Sun Outreach” event to educate women on how to protect their skin from sun damage. In addition to the WDS event, MDLSV also hosts periodic free skin cancer screenings, and participates in clinical research trials to advance the state of dermatologic medicines and treatments.

“We believe that to become a top dermatological practice takes more than simply performing procedures,” asserted Dr. Beasley. “Of course we take pride in offering our patients the best dermatology treatments available, but we also value strengthening our ties with the community.”

Maryland Laser Skin and Vein boasts an impressive array of dermal fillers, laser treatments, injectables such as Botox, and noninvasive body contouring procedures. They are at the forefront of all the latest technology, but they only offer proven, safe, FDA-approved treatment options. Maryland Laser Skin and Vein treats a variety of conditions, and will always have a thorough consultation with patients before committing to a completely individualized treatment plan.

"We care about promoting healthy skin, and we do our best to educate and support the community," said Dr. Beasley. "The doctors and staff at MDLSV are excited for the opportunity to be a part of these International Crown events, and we hope to provide valuable information about skin conditions and treatments to the community.”
