Maryland Health Coach Wendy Martens Launches Corporate Wellness Program
Date:7/15/2013

Glen Echo, MD (PRWEB) July 15, 2013

Leading a healthy and productive life for today’s employee does not only represent nutritious eating habits. A healthy employee’s lifestyle encompasses the daily routine for choices of mental attitudes (stress reduction), exercise, food consumption, working well with co-employees, owner’s support and relaxation. Wendy Martens, CEO of New Pathway to Health, has launched a Stress Reduction Program for employees who are choosing to embark on transforming themselves in the workplace and reducing stress.

Wendy Martens’ program, Corporate Stress: Attacking Productivity, Concentration, Health and Weight in the Corporate Employee, along with a number of other programs, is a new addition to New Pathway to Health’s desire to help people be healthier in every aspect of their lives. Employees will learn and accomplish the following:

Learning and understanding the psychological and emotional effects of stress on the body, health and work.
Stopping the ‘stress trigger’ in its tracks before they are engulfed in the stress response.
Increasing productivity and overall happiness in the workplace.
How and what to eat to allow the body to deal with daily stress.
Relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body

“My passion is all about helping people,” states Wendy. “I give the employees a new way of looking at stress in the workplace, relaxation techniques to relieve stress, and healthy eating to face stress without taxing your body. What most people don’t realize is that there is a strong correlation between high stress levels and increased body fat. My program helps reduce both.”

Corporate Stress: Attacking Productivity, Concentration, Health and Weight in the Corporate Employee is a great first lunch-and-learn, which can be followed by Sugar Blues Workshop, Eating for Energy Workshop, Weight Loss Class, Monthly Group Counseling Services and One on One Counseling Session (on site or over the phone).

Corporate entities that are interested in Wendy Martens’ Corporate Stress: Attacking Productivity, Concentration, Health and Weight in the Corporate Employee program and other workshops can log onto http://www.newpathwaytohealth.com for more information.
