Alliance Formed To Produce Podcasts Featuring Healthcare Executives

CHICAGO, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Martopia, a growth catalyst firm(TM) that provides a unique blend of business, marketing, public relations and sales expertise to help businesses in the healthcare industry achieve their growth goals, today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Modern Healthcare magazine, a publication of Crain Communications Inc., to produce two podcast programs for the Modern Healthcare Web site.

The "Special Report Extra" podcasts feature key healthcare executives involved in the major events shaping the industry. The "Winner's Playbook" podcasts feature recipients of Modern Healthcare's awards and honors programs. The podcasts are brought to the listeners by Modern Healthcare and are powered by Martopia's new media production group.

"Modern Healthcare's primary mission is to be the healthcare industry's source for the most up-to-date news and information," says Fawn Lopez, publisher of Modern Healthcare. "By utilizing podcast technology, we're expanding on our content offerings and responding to the changing reader needs. Through podcasts, viewers can gain more insight from rare interviews with industry leaders, gather in-depth information on key healthcare topics and learn what happens at an important industry event. We're looking forward to our relationship with Martopia and delivering beneficial and exciting podcasts to healthcare executives!"

"We are excited to support Modern Healthcare in the production of the new 'Special Report Extra' and 'Winner's Playbook' programs because it provides an exciting new forum for healthcare professionals to explore important industry issues and emerging trends," says Martopia President Tami Hernandez.

Modern Healthcare's "Special Report Extra" launched in August 2007 and can be accessed online by visiting
