Martinez Insurance Group Continues Community Enrichment Program by Collaborating with Potential Church’s Toy Store to Provide a Brighter Christmas for Children in Need
Date:11/14/2015

The caring team at Martinez Insurance Group realizes that providing a joyful Christmas can be a true challenge for many area families. By announcing the latest campaign in their ongoing community enrichment program, they hope to further their commitment to better the local community, one child at a time. Launching a toy drive and fundraiser for Potential Church’s Toy Store, the agency will be collecting Christmas gifts for children of all ages at their Pembroke Pines offices. Readers who would like to contribute toys or make monetary donations may do so now at: http://www.martinezinsurancegroup.com/Holiday-Toys-For-Girls--Boys_18_community_cause.

Christmas poses a particular challenge for families in need. If providing food and clothing is a struggle for these families, how can they possibly give their children Christmas gifts? Potential Church’s Toy Store is an initiative which allows local parents who are struggling financially to be heroes to their children on Christmas morning. New toys, bikes, books and other items are collected by caring volunteers and set up in a store-like environment, where parents may then ‘shop’ at no cost, joyfully returning home with wrapped surprises for their kids. Potential Church’s Toy Store relies on dedicated volunteers and the donations of compassionate community members in order to work their magic.

“We can only imagine the challenges faced by these struggling families at the holidays,” said Ernie Martinez, owner of Martinez Insurance Group. “All children deserve the excitement of having presents under the tree, and we are very pleased to help give parents the opportunity to make that happen. After all, neighbors helping neighbors is what we’re all about here.”

The agency is taking a three-pronged approach to their campaign. In addition to collecting toys at their offices, and encouraging financial donations, the agency itself will donate $10 to this very worthy cause for each person recommended to the agency for a quote. Anyone willing to help spread the word about the cause for Potential Church’s Toy Store may recommend someone they know for a new insurance evaluation for their home, car, life, or more, with no purchase necessary. Readers may visit the campaign’s webpage to refer a friend, make a monetary donation or find drop off locations for toy donations, here: http://www.martinezinsurancegroup.com/Holiday-Toys-For-Girls--Boys_18_community_cause.

From its offices in Pembroke Pines, Martinez Insurance Group is mobilizing its social media channels, email and text message communications in the campaign, and has dedicated a full page of their monthly magazine to feature all the details of the Toy Store campaign. Our Hometown magazine is delivered to thousands of households in the surrounding areas, and the electronic version of the current issue may be viewed here: http://www.martinezinsurancegroup.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

Martinez Insurance Group pledges to continue working for deserving local causes, as part of their commitment to operate as agents of change in the community.
