Martek Announces Addition of life'sDHA(TM) to Entire Bellybar(TM) Line of Nutrition Bars

COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Martek Biosciences, a DHA omega-3 market leader, announced today that NutraBella has introduced under the Bellybar(TM) brand, new and improved flavors featuring Martek's life'sDHA(TM), Martek's patented, vegetarian form of DHA omega-3. Bellybar(TM), an all-natural line of snack bars designed to meet the nutritional needs of women before, during and after pregnancy, now includes 50 mg per bar of life'sDHA(TM), a fatty acid important for brain, eye, and nervous system development in infants that may also play a role in maternal well-being. Already in the Burstin' Chocolate variety, NutraBella has now added life'sDHA(TM) to the entire line of Bellybar(TM) products, providing women with additional flavors packed with nutrients that will not conflict with their prenatal supplements. All varieties are currently available at select Whole Foods Markets, Wild Oats Markets, Babies 'R Us, Mimi Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, Wegmans, Pharmaca, HEB and other select retailers around the United States.
