Mark Tucker Insurance Brings Attention to Local Church Fighting Hunger in the Community by Collecting Food and Toys to Help Bring Christmas Cheer
Date:12/15/2015

Mark Tucker Insurance, a full service firm serving families from offices in Hickory Creek and Denton, TX, continues their commitment to act as Agents of Change in the community by announcing a food and toy drive to support the area’s families in need. Partnering with Lake Cities Church, the agency is collecting monetary contributions, as well donations of toys and nonperishable foods. More information on how and where to contribute may be found at http://marktuckerinsurance.com/Spread-Christmas-Cheer-this-Year_20_community_cause.

Lake Cities Church fights hunger in the community by serving countless families every year through their food pantry. The pantry also provides basic hygiene items to neighbors in need. Christmas brings an addition to their services: the ABATE Toy Drive, which collects new, unwrapped toys for distribution to disadvantaged children.

“We’re thrilled to team up with Lake Cities Church to help local families at Christmas,” said Mark Tucker, owner of Mark Tucker Insurance. “There are so many children and families in our community who may not get to experience the same magical season the rest of us are so lucky to have. Helping to provide a brighter Christmas for all is a perfect fit for our Community Program, and we’re happy to do whatever we can.”

Toys and food are being collected at both the Hickory Creek and Denton offices, and the team at Mark Tucker Insurance is busy mobilizing its social media channels, email and text message communications in the initiative for Lake Cities Church food pantry and the ABATE Toy Drive. They have also dedicated a full page of their monthly magazine to featuring the cause. The electronic version of Our Hometown magazine may be viewed here: http://marktuckerinsurance.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_44. In addition to gathering monetary, food and toy donations, the agency will also contribute $10 to the campaign for each person recommended to them for an insurance quotation, with no purchase necessary.

Committed to fulfilling their pledge to foster positive change within the community, Mark Tucker Insurance will continue to support local worthy causes, selecting a new group, family or individual to receive their support every 30-60 days. Members of the community are invited to submit ideas for consideration of future campaigns through this link: http://marktuckerinsurance.com/Submit-A-Community-Cause-Idea_47. The selected causes will be contacted by a representative of Mark Tucker Insurance’s Community Program.
