Marina Del Rey Hospital's New Website: One Destination for Medical Information
Date:1/2/2014

Marina Del Rey, CA (PRWEB) January 02, 2014

Marina Del Rey Hospital is nationally recognized for the specialized surgical and patient care that it provides for the entire Los Angeles community. With its new website, the hospital's online presence now reflects this commitment to excellence and cutting-edge treatment options.

"Our goal is to bring improved clarity and an enhanced, more accessible user experience to our current and future patients," said Fred Hunter, Marina Del Rey Hospital's president and CEO. "We want to make sure that when people are doing their research on the Internet for a medical service provider, they have access to the most pertinent information regarding our facility.”

Previously, the hospital's robotic surgery, bariatric surgery, orthopedics, and spine service lines had content displayed over several micro-sites. The new site quickly and easily links users to cohesive and comprehensive information on all of the hospital's specialty centers, making it easier for users to find information and contact the hospital departments, service lines and surgeons. The new site also expands the content related to latest developments and upcoming events at the hospital so community members and physicians can engage in everything that’s happening at Marina Del Rey Hospital.

The new site has been built using responsive web design, a new approach to web design that optimizes the user experience on all mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The responsive design adjusts content and layout based on the screen size and orientation, device type, and other factors, so that it is displayed properly no matter what device or software the viewer is using to read the site.

"We want to make sure that we present comprehensive information on the spine, weight loss and minimally invasive surgery we perform at our hospital,” said Mr. Hunter. "We
