Marin County Scandal and Elder Abuse Horror: Lawsuits Link 'Death Nurse,' Bay Area lawyers, Doctor and 'Blind Eye' by Local, State, and National Public Officials

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- According to lawsuits filed in Marin County Superior Court, San Francisco Attorneys Ruth Sullivan, daughter Laura Sullivan, and Dr. George Kimmerling, have just been added as defendants in a lawsuit filed by the 68-year-old daughter of descendant, 96-year-old George Clifford White, Judy Myers, in pro-per.

Allegations against 56-year-old nurse and nursing home operator, Augusta Salinas White includes elder abuse, neglect, and financial elder abuse, and fraud, including a questionable death and marriage certificate. The suit was filed in August 17, 2007, later amended in September 2007, by Ms. Myers. Berkeley attorney Peter Liederman for Augusta immediately filed a General Denial, and a "Notice of Unavailability" for Augusta and him until the case management hearing to be held at January 9, 2008 at 9:00am. According to the Wrongful Death lawsuit filed in Marin County Superior Court, October 18, 2007, by Bay Area attorney, Robert G. Burton for Plaintiffs Carolyn Swenson and Robert Der Avedisian, V. McGarr House1 and nursing home owner, 57-year-old, Augusta Salinas White, clearly illustrates the elder abuse horrors.

The death certificate for 83-year-old Rose Der Avedisian states, "Rose died of bedsores developed on her right hip and left foot." The complaint explains, "The sores were known by defendant Augusta Salinas White, but concealed." The lawsuit states, "As a legal result of defendants' conduct, Rose Der Avedisian died on October 19, 2005."
