Date:8/20/2009

Sparsense, the developer of a novel image and signal processing technology has joined forces with Mantaro, a turnkey product development services firm. The exclusive partnership will allow the development of various custom hardware algorithm accelerator platforms capable of advancing medical imaging and other applications. The new technology can be applied to MRI, MR video guided surgery, video multicast, noise elimination and pattern, handwriting, speaker, speech, and object recognition, and many other applications.

(PRWEB) August 20, 2009 -- Mantaro, an embedded product development services firm, and Sparsense, a recognized leader in developing and licensing image and signal processing technology, announced today an exclusive partnership to offer extremely high performance digital image processing services and solutions, such as 3D MRI processing accelerators for Real Time medical imaging applications.

Sparsense uses proprietary digital signal processing algorithms to improve the image quality of many types of sampled images. These algorithms allow undersampled or noisy images to produce image quality of systems with 10 times the samples. The resulting Sparsense processed images do not exhibit blurred edges when reconstructing them from noisy samples. The technology itself has broad applicability in the processing of various types of digital signals.

Mantaro has worked with Sparsense over the past year on the development of a powerful, custom hardware algorithm accelerator platform for use in medical imaging applications. Through the development process, Mantaro has gained significant expertise and knowledge of the Sparsense technology and other potential areas for its application.
