Berkley brings more than 25 years of industry experience

COPPELL, Texas, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mannatech, Incorporated (Nasdaq: MTEX), a leading developer and provider of dietary supplements and skin care solutions, today announced the hiring of Marika Berkley as the company's vice president of global regulatory affairs and quality assurance.

Having previously been the department head for the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs disciplines, Berkley's experience includes directing all components of these functions, including strategic business development, ISO implementation, regulatory compliance, supply chain partnerships and auditing. In addition to her technical expertise, Berkley has vast experience in leading and developing teams, and in her own words, she is "particularly skilled in developing high performance interdisciplinary teams" -- something she looks forward to with the combining of the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs departments.

Berkley's international experience includes Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific Rim. Prior to joining Mannatech, Berkley worked for the Gillette Company, Abbott Labs and PFIZER Laboratories.
