Make Your 2010 Resolution and Chill Out with Crystal Light Frozen Treats
Date:12/28/2009

BOISE, Idaho, Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The research shows, we're an increasingly obese nation. It's no surprise then, battling the bulge becomes a main priority for those setting New Year resolutions (number three according to about.com). Experts preach to win the weight war; individuals must be prepared to make lifestyle changes starting with the types of foods they eat. This year, Matterhorn and Crystal Light offer two ways to indulge while working off and managing weight - Crystal Light frozen pops and Italian ice cups. As a way to jumpstart the conversation and enthusiasm about New Year's resolutions Matterhorn wants to give one lucky winner a year's supply of Crystal Light frozen treats. To enter the conversation, folks should tweet their resolution to @CrystalLightPops.

"Crystal Light frozen pops were the first low-calorie, sugar-free frozen treat catering to the sophisticated pallet of the adult consumer - our Italian ice cups the second," said Frank Everett vice president of marketing. "Consumers expect bold great taste from Crystal Light and they get it. Our pops are 15 calories each and the Italian ice cups 35, and far more creamy and delicious like other Italian ice cups on the market, but 50% less calories and no sugar."

Starting December 28, individuals following CrystalLightPops may tweet their resolution, weight loss tips and tricks to accomplishing their goals to @CrystalLightPops for a chance to win one grand prize of a year's supply of Crystal Light frozen treats. Up to 10 winners will be chosen each day to win four boxes of Crystal Light Frozen Pops each. The contest will be open until January 1, 11:59 p.m. Visit www.crystallightfrozen.com for complete rules to entry.

Crystal Light frozen treats are available in 10-count frozen pop combo packs and four-count cup packs. Featured flavors are wild strawberry, raspberry ice, lemonade, raspberry lemonade, cherry pomegranate, pink lemonade, classic orange, and fruit punch.
