MagnaCare Answers Need for New Prescription Drug Program
Date:7/7/2009

NEW YORK, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing commitment to keeping New York and New Jersey healthy, MagnaCare, the region's recognized leader in innovative healthcare administration for over 20 years, is proud to announce the launch of its new full-service pharmacy benefit management (PBM) program, MagnaCareRx.

This is especially true given the current climate of scrutiny on existing PBMs. As the confidence of the 200 million Americans who get prescription drug benefits through PBMs starts to waver, it's up to trusted companies like MagnaCare to step in and offer a better alternative for its 500,000-plus members. "We developed MagnaCareRx in response to feedback from our clients, who have been telling us they want help lowering prescription drug benefit costs without compromising quality of care or service [by offering] flexible solutions through a single point of contact," said Jordan.

In a crowded pharmacy benefit management marketplace, MagnaCareRx stands apart with:

  • Proven solutions for lowering drug costs with a strong generic drug program, valuable rebate management and a client-first approach
  • Flexible formularies to allow maximum savings and customization for clients over a wide range of industries
  • Unmatched client and member service - every time you call to speak with a representative about your prescriptions or benefit plan, you will get the same level of outstanding service for which MagnaCare has consistently been praised

MagnaCareRx will offer plan sponsors a complete choice of prescription drug services including a co
