Madame Munchie Wins the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup Award for Best Medical Marijuana Edibles in San Francisco for their Artisanal Cannabis Macarons
Date:7/18/2014

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 18, 2014

The fifth annual High Times Cannabis Cup held in Santa Rosa, California is now over. More than 40 entries were competing for the top spot for edibles. Madame Munchie, a young collective wishing to bring awareness and increased regulation to ensure safe and informed access to medication for all patients, has been awarded with the Best Medical Marijuana Edibles for its Artisanal Cannabis Macarons in a win that topped all entries this year.

The Madame Munchie San Francisco based collective entered its five gourmet flavored Macarons that each carry 20 mgs of THC. The combinations that wowed the High Times judges were Hazelnut Mocha, Citrus à l’amande, Tropical Jungle, Green Gold and PB&J.

These high-quality French pastries come in a beautifully designed package that includes all information on their lab tested ingredients. The Macarons are now available for qualified medical patients in several Bay Area dispensaries.

"Our mission is to provide wellness, relief and delicious, smoke-free alternative that will allow our patients to experience a unique moment of gourmet medication," said one company co-founder.

The demand for medical marijuana in the state of California has increased since Proposition 215 was voted into effect in the mid 1990’s. While several legislative changes have altered the original concept, collectives like Madame Munchie are tapping into the huge patient demand for quality edibles that use natural ingredients and provide a smokeless option.

"Our carefully handcrafted edibles use some the finest local ingredients available and are lab tested to ensure potency, purity and consistent dosage levels," added the co-founder.
