Company Helps Fight Skin Cancer with State-of-the-Art Technology
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW Group (http://www.mww.com), one of the nation's top 10 public relations firms, today announced the addition of MoleSafe to its client roster. Developed in New Zealand, MoleSafe is a state-of-the-art procedure involving the digital imaging, archiving and diagnosis of moles and other suspicious lesions to help detect early skin cancer, specifically melanoma. MWW Group will lead a campaign to support the U.S. introduction of MoleSafe and to generate awareness surrounding the launch of its initial MoleSafe centers throughout the Northeast.
"MWW Group is looking forward to working with MoleSafe as the company brings its life-saving technology to the United States," said Michael W. Kempner, president and CEO of MWW Group. "Our experience in the healthcare industry coupled with our expertise in event planning and targeted outreach will help MoleSafe achieve its public relations goals."
MoleSafe uses a unique mix of state-of-the-art technology with world class melanoma experts to detect skin cancer in its early stages. The company offers full skin examinations, reports with recommendations from melanoma specialists and follow-up checkups.
MWW Group will assist MoleSafe in driving traffic to its facilities, building brand awareness and increasing sales. The agency will develop a media outreach campaign and offer event support for its groundbreaking this summer.
MoleSafe is a state-of-the-art procedure involving the digital imaging, archiving and diagnosis of moles and other suspicious lesions. The procedure utilizes a combination of high resolution dermoscopy imaging technology that uses high intensity light to penetrate through the surface of the skin to show the structure of moles (and other lesions) and a dermatologist's expert evaluation of the images. In addition to the increased diagnostic accuracy associated with dermoscopy, MoleSafe is able to detect at an earlier stage any new, changing and/or suspicious lesions by monitoring and comparing the images over time. While MoleSafe has the ability to identify all skin cancers, its primary focus is on the early detection of melanoma.
