MVP Health Care Makes List of Capital Region's Fastest-Growing Companies

SCHENECTADY, N.Y., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- MVP Health Care was recently ranked as the fourth fastest-growing company by The Business Review in the July 3-10, 2009 edition. The ranking is based on Capital Region revenue changes between 2004 and 2008. MVP has seen as increase of 160 percent, bringing their Capital Region revenue to $2.53 billion. They are also the highest ranked health insurance company.

The Business Review, an Albany, NY-based business journal, also interviewed MVP Health Care president and CEO David W. Oliker to discuss MVP's success. Oliker cited the alliance with CIGNA HealthCare and the merger with Rochester, NY-based MVP Preferred Care as the foundation for more attractive products and reasons for their continued growth.
